Biosecurity Clinical Waste Bag

Clinical waste bags specific for the disposal of animal waste originating from animals contaminated with an agent infectious to humans or from animals inoculated during research, production of biologicals or pharmaceutical testing with infectious agents. Products include items worn when caring for infected animals, carcasses, body parts, blood or bedding.

As stated by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection,  “clinical and related waste must be handled, stored, packaged, labelled and transported appropriately to minimise the potential for contact with the waste and to reduce the risk to the environment from accidental release”.
